British PM Boris Johnson tests positive for coronavirus



  • He says he is self-isolating but will continue to lead the government's response via video-conference as they fight this virus.


    English Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tried positive for coronavirus and is currently self-detaching.

    In a tweet from his official Twitter handle on Friday, the PM said that he created mellow side effects and on specialists' suggestion tried for the infection. He said his test turned out positive.

    "In the course of the most recent 24 hours, I have created mellow indications and tried positive for coronavirus. I am currently self-secluding, yet I will keep on driving the administration's reaction employing video-meeting as we battle this infection," he said.
      Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.
      I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government's response via video-conference as we fight this virus.

A Downing Street representative said the head administrator was tried for coronavirus on the individual exhortation of England's Chief Medical Officer, Professor Chris Whitty. "The test was completed in No 10 by NHS staff," the representative included.
